About Dr. Tia, NP

Hi, I’m Dr. Tia! I am a board-certified, women’s health nurse practitioner with close to 10 years of nursing experience. After obtaining my bachelors degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!!) I went on to complete my bachelors in nursing from Columbia University in New York. After gaining experience as a bedside nurse, I became a women’s health nurse practitioner, upon completing a dual Masters program in nursing and public health, at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. I am credentialed through the National Certification Corporation and a member of various professional organizations. I also have a PhD in nursing research.

It has always been my dream to open a clinic that provides high-quality care and fosters great patient-provider relationships while treating the mind, body, and spirit. I am passionate about empowering women to help them achieve their goals and function at their most optimal level. I am also passionate about quality care. Our practice involves collaboration with a board certified physician, and meets the Texas Board of Nursing and Texas State Medical Board’s standards. To ensure that our practice is patient-centered, I held a series of town hall meetings and distributed a survey, in order ot see what women wanted from their women’s health services. The result is Agrarian Wellness.

If you are looking for a compassionate healthcare provider, who will spend ample time with you to provide personalized and wellness-oriented care, then you have come to the right place! We look forward to serving your needs!
